From a founding idea to District 3131's Outstanding Emerging Club — in under a year.
History
How We Began
The Rotaract Club of Nigdi-Pune was officially chartered on 28 June 2023, under the founding leadership of Charter President CP Rtr. Ivan Joshua and Charter Secretary Rtr. Gunjan Choudhari.
In our very first year, we made an immediate impact — successfully hosting the District 3131 Fellowship Meet and organising a community trek that attracted over 500 registrations, a remarkable feat for a newly chartered club.
Our rapid growth and commitment earned us recognition at the District level, including the Outstanding Emerging Club (Community-Based) award and five other district honours in our debut year.

Rotaract is a Rotary International program that brings together people ages 18-30 to exchange ideas, develop leadership and professional skills, and take action to make a difference in their communities and around the world. We are proudly chartered under Rotary International District 3131, which spans the Pune metropolitan region.
